A Note from the Class Reunion Committee

CONGRATULATIONS! If you’re reading this now, you are a survivor!  And you are one day closer to the 40th anniversary of our last days at Nimitz high school.  We are quite sure you’re in as much disbelief as we are that this remarkable milestone in life is nigh upon us. Several of your classmates have been gathering in the last couple of months to hash out a place and time to celebrate our long lives, to reconvene, compare life’s battle scars (and tattoos?), snap selfies, and maybe rekindle old but not forgotten friendships. We think we have found a cool venue in north Irving that will suit our needs at an affordable
cost. We tried real hard to keep the cost low without sacrificing ambience and/or proximity to our old stomping grounds. We also decided to avoid a summer gathering, as Texas summers are only getting hotter!  Details: Friday Saturday October 10^th-11^th 2025.   The sooner you can commit to attending, the sooner we can finalize our food and beverage requirements for the weekend.  PLEASE do make plans to be there.  By all accounts (from our teachers and members of classes before and after us) the NHS Class of ’85 was something special, and every classmate had something to offer that contributed to our uniqueness. We want EVERYONE to come and share in that uniqueness. And if you have any ideas, concerns, or know of any classmates that are no longer with us that have escaped our attention, please contact any member of the Reunion Committee, listed below.
